Tell Big Polluters to stay out of climate policy!

In this make-or-break year for the planet, Big Polluters and their front groups are working tirelessly to weaken and delay climate policy needed to save the planet and millions of lives. That's why we're organizing at the U.N. right now to kick Big Polluters out of the climate talks.

But we need to keep the pressure on, and we've got a big opportunity to call out corporations like ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, and BP at their annual shareholders' meetings.

As they head into their shareholders' meetings, tell Big Polluters to stop blocking progress on climate justice!

Subject: ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, and BP: Stay out of climate policy!

We face a planetary emergency; One which your corporations’ actions have directly contributed to and exacerbated. You have understood the dangerous climate impacts of burning fossil fuels for decades.

And for decades, your actions have not matched the urgency of the crisis. Whether funding climate denial or mobilizing vast numbers of lobbyists and front groups, you have worked tirelessly to weaken and delay climate action. Today, when the urgency of the crisis is more apparent than ever, you are pushing dangerous distractions like carbon markets, even though they are an ineffective and unjust approach, and fail to keep fossil fuels in the ground.

Enough is enough. We need real climate solutions, and we have no time to waste with dangerous distractions and greenwashing designed to buy polluting corporations more time to keep burning fossil fuels.

We call on you to stay out of climate policy, from the local to the international, and stop pushing dangerous distractions.
